 We started the project off through research. The research would lead onto informing how our puppet would be designed and developed. The puppet we designed had a 2D core of plywood, the shapes slotted together to create the basic puppet structure. We added Styrofoam and carved the separate limbs. Finally we strung the puppet together and finished it with a brown paper aesthetic. When manipulating the puppet we found that different people worked better performing with the puppet. We all found interest within the puppet being curious and wanting to learn about light. We looked into many different ways light could be shown, manipulated and reflected.
